It’s here! The #NSALE is live. I went and tried on yesterday and there are a lot of great basics that are back and on sale.
I only ended up buying 6 things in-store but do plan to order a few more things to try that weren’t stocked in my store.
What I Bought
LOVE this new scarf – the detail feels luxe + vintage-y and the colors are so so pretty – also comes in an ivory version. my sister has something super similar from a trip to Europe and every time she wears it I want to steal it from her – not anymore 😉 // now: $36 – will be: $55 // shop it here
and these are so good – more comfortable than the suede BP pair that look very similar (but not as comfy). these are Steve Madden and the simplicity is perfect + the heel isn’t too high. they also come in snakeskin and black leather // now: $87 – will be: $130 // shop the Steve Madden booties (pictured here)
was so surprised I actually love this – comes in another color, wearing a small. it’s only $35 and feels really substantial and has great detailing // now: $35 – will be: $55 // shop the sweater
raise your hand if you CANNOT do a skinny heel anymore?! (me with both hands raised) – these mules come in 3 colors (ivory, the yellow shown behind + black) and the block heel makes them super easy to wear/walk in – almost bootie-esque // now: $50 – will be: $80 // shop them here
What I’m Ordering Online
What I Already Have from Past Sales
an older version of this year’s North Face waterproof parka – this year’s comes in 3 colors (grey, black, and olive) // shop the jacket
the Madewell Ryder cardigan – soft and stretchy. it comes in 5 colors this year, mine is navy from last year. wearing an XS – runs big // shop the cardi
barefoot dreams circle cardigan – people go nuts for these, I bought it LY and honestly don’t live in it // shop the BFD cardigan
the high-waist Zella leggings – these are exactly the same this year – they’re a great option if you’re looking for something with a good amount of compression – I wear a small and they’re under $40 // shop the leggings
I did get lots of wear out of this Patagonia fleece – wearing a small // shop the fleece
toddler North Face jackets from 3 years ago – they’re still in great shape and last for years of hand-me-downs. I always buy a size up to get more wear out of them. Also love that they aren’t puffy so they’re safe to wear under car seat straps // shop toddler North Face fleeces
not the best pic, but the shorts version of the Moonlight PJs – I wear a small but you could size down // shop the Moonlight shorts set
the short tour Hunter boots (on me) – I long ago sold my tall Hunters in favor of these because the tall were too tall and hot on me. these are much more breathable and great for short gals or if you have a wider calf. the ‘tour’ model also means they roll and pack really well // shop the Short Your Hunter boots here // shop all sale Hunter boots here
the Moonlight nightshirt – this is so great for pregnancy and nursing. ignore the wrinkles 😉 wearing a small // shop the nightshirt here
the UGG scuff slippers are the big girl’s version from LY – this year they’re available in women’s and big girl’s
WHEW! Lots of old favorites are back and I’m feeling good about the fact that what I bought is filling holes in my closet.
