A little bit about me…
- I have three kids ages seven and under – my daughter is seven, my son is five, and my littlest girl is two. AND… I’m pregnant with our 4th! Due in February 2020 :)/
- I’ve been a full-time working mom, a part-time working mom, a SAHM annnd now, a WAHM. None of them has been easier than the other.
- I really enjoy cooking but can’t commit to anything that takes longer than 45 minutes – ain’t nobody got time for that!
- Traveling is my favorite way to spend money and I’ve visited at least one country in North America (obvi), Europe, Asia, South America, and Africa.
- I love shopping (treasure hunting!) – antiquing, online, Target – I don’t discriminate! I love finding a good deal on something that doesn’t usually go on sale.
- I would have been voted least likely to have children in high school – things change! Being a mom is by far the coolest thing I’ve ever done and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Even if some days are really freaking hard.
- Sarcasm is my love language.
- Having a good mom tribe keeps me sane(ish).
- My background is in Journalism and Digital Marketing. I left the corporate world in 2016 to stay home with my babes and work on this tiny corner of the internet. I do the same work I was doing in an office for a major brand from my couch for my own brand – and I *love* it.
Also love: being by myself in the car with no one yelling at me // snuggling with our snoring Frenchie, Porkchop // celebrating successes big and small with my husband // reading a good book // happy houring with my girlfriends // the feeling I get AFTER a good workout // pizza (can’t forget pizza)
I started this blog because I love to read about how other mommas live their lives, “do it all” {no such thing}, and balance the million hats they wear throughout the day. I write with the hope that you can find a laugh, a relatable moment, a tip or trick to make your job as a mom easier. “Lovely Lucky Life” is my name for the crazy, amazing, life our family shares.
