If you’re anything like me, Target is life. I am in love with both the A New Day line and the Universal Threads line (they bring the Madewell style minus the Madewell price). A few weeks ago, I asked about your favorite inexpensive layering tank tops on my Instagram stories, and the overwhelming majority said the A New Day tanks – they’re usually $8 but on sale for $5 – and they are SO good… stretchy, not see-through, long enough, not spaghetti strap, great price, and they come in like 15 colors.
So I ran into the store to grab these tanks… and walked out with like $300 worth of clothes. But only to try, not to keep the whole haul ;). My mom wardrobe requirements are, in no particular order: comfy, cute, and practical. Target has been BRINGING IT with the soft and stylish clothing and the prices are always amazing, so it’s hard to get out of there without adding a new top or tee.
Here are the latest Target pieces for moms for fall that you need to see:
NOTE: in all these outfits, I’m wearing these Madewell-dupe button fly jeans – and they’re under $35! I *really* liked them, minus a slight manufacturing defect on the inner thighs of one of the legs, but it was probably a fluke. Worth a try if you don’t want to splurge on the Madewell version but still want to try the button-up high-waist trend. I sized down, go one size under your norm.
I’m also wearing these olive booties – run TTS, come in 3 colors, and they look SO much more expensive than they really are ;).
striped brushed fleecy long sleeve tee – wearing a small
boxy striped tee – fell in love! wearing an XS, runs slightly cropped… and IT’S $12!!!!!!!
this button-up had a great, easy feel to it – not at all stiff. wearing an XS
the perfect layering tank (wearing a small, don’t size down) + an easy, drapey super soft open-front cardigan . and it has pockets.
this side tie top is supersoft & stretchy but just wasn’t my fave. wearing an XS
OBSESSED with this drape front top – a dupe of an Anthro version I wanted last year but this one is under $20. perfect for nursing & a bump & comes in 3 colors. wearing an XS.
does this chambray tunic make me look like I’m wearing an oversized tunic? I thought so too. pass.
