I got a *little* carried away putting together this list but I had a ton of ideas for Easter basket stuffers SO here we are with 75+ non-junk Easter basket ideas for kids of all ages, from baby to big kid.
This list is huge but I definitely keep it simple for Easter baskets. I usually give my kids something practical, something fun, and a few things for summer that I’d be buying them anyway – like swimsuits, shoes, a towel, or goggles. No candy, no plastic trinkets, no ‘one-and-done’ toys – but no judgment, that’s just not my thing :).
As a note – every item image you see below can be clicked to take you straight to the product to shop – the buttons beneath each pic are also shoppable.
Here are 75+ Easter basket filler ideas for boys and girls of all ages – I hope this helps you make it easier to fill your kids’ baskets!

Ideas for Easter Basket Stuffers
Fun Stuff
Fire Tablet – each of my big kids has one of these and I HIGHLY recommend! Set time limits, set age limits on the content, and limit access to the internet (no more YouTube Kids).
Custom Puzzle – a sweet little personalized gift with an activity built in :).
Twisty Petz – Quinn and Emmy both really love these – it’s a beaded strand that can be manipulated into jewelry or a little ‘pet’.
Story Cubes – these have great reviews and encourage creativity and storytelling for older kids – the package says 6+.
Shock Proof Binoculars – these are real binoculars but totally kid-proof. Good for nature/hiking and the Muny in the summer if you’re in STL. They come in lots of colors so something for boys and girls!
Warmies – my kids absolutely love these – they’re microwavable and have dried French lavender for a soothing warm cuddle AND they’re a great price point and they have a million animals to choose from – see them all here. Basically a really cute cuddly heating pad for kids – they can also be popped into the freezer as a little ‘ice pack’ too.
Pink Bunny Sleeping Bag – this little pink bunny sleeping bag looks like PBK but it’s about half the price with great reviews!
Instax Mini – my 2 big kids got one of these for Christmas and the photos they take on them are SO cute! We don’t let them have unlimited access to these so we don’t go broke buying film but they’ll get a film refrill in their baskets this year, too. The cheapest place to get film is HERE – the value pack of 50 is a great deal but the 2 pack is, too :).
Temporary Metallic Tattoos – fact: every kid loves temp tattoos. These are SUPER inexpensive, too!
Monster Temporary Tattoos – good for the younger crowd š my kids LOVE these and the price is great
Kids Activity Tracker/Watch – Quinn has owned this for almost a year and she loves it. It doesn’t track location but it does have a step tracker, obviously tells time, tracks chores and it’s waterproof and the battery lasts a year so no worrying about charging it. They also sell replacement bands if the floral, camo or red aren’t your jam.
Polly Pocket – these are BACK and great for a basket.
Friendship Bracelet Set – this little set of friendship bracelets is so cute for mother/daughter or your girl can give one to her bestie :).
Letters To Me When I Grow Up – this little book has prompts for your child to write themselves letters to themselves for when they’re older. Cute idea!
Hot Wheels – this 5 pack of hot wheels fits perfectly inside a basket!
Race Track Tape – the PERFECT Easter basket stuffer for a car-loving kid – sticks on to make anything a racetrack.
Dinosaur Eggs Dig Kit – these seem really cool – the package comes with 12 so throw a few in the basket and hold onto the rest for when you need a quick activity.
V-Tech Kids Camera – both of my bigger kids have/had one of these and they’re super durable and easy for them to use. A great ‘first camera’.
Crafts & Stuff to Make
Mr Sketch Washable Markers – the same amazing scents from our childhood + they’re washable.
120 Count Washable Markers – washable is the key word here š this pack of 50 is such a great deal!
Kinetic Sand Refills/Mini Packs – put one from the set of four of these little Kinetic Sand packs in a basket.
Decorative Edge Scissor Set – great to add to the craft supplies!
Travel Spirograph – Quinn got one of these for her 7th birthday. Refills for the paper are just regular post-its (3×3) so nothing special to buy. Great for the car, air travel, restaurants, etc.
Flair Pens – Quinn loves these and I love to borrow them from her š
Scratch Art – these on-the-go super portable no-mess scratch pads are great for kids of all ages.
Wiki Stix – The perfect on-the-go toy to keep in your purse for any time you need tiny hands occupied for a few mins.
Make Your Own Comic Book – perfect if you have a comic book obsessed guy (or gal).
Paint by Sticker – a portable sticker book that’s great for restaurants + the car + air travel.
Scribble Scrubbies – All 3 of my kids (3, 5, 7) love these and they’re color-able, washable, rinse & repeat ;).
Play-Doh – A classic toy for kids in a Easter basket friendly package. Keep one or two in your purse for emergencies ;).
Practical Stuff
Kids Headphones – great for travel and device use at home – good price, good reviews, tons of color combos – including blue.
Printed Name Labels – these are super cute and SO practical! Dishwasher & washer safe – we stick them on water bottles, in coats & jackets, on school supplies, and even on the bottom of dance shoes.
Personalized Apron – each of my kids has one of these and they are DARLING, functional, and personalized on the little leather tag on the front. A great gift for kids who love to play kitchens and help in real kitchens.
Hunter Rain Boots – love these for big girls, too! Easy on, easy off, my kids wear these year-round and buying slightly large makes them last quite a while. Lots of colors & options here.
Toddler Hunter Boots – hands down, the easiest boots for kids to put on and take off on their own… kind of a big deal when your preschooler’s middle name is “Independent”. They last forever, look really cute in every season, have good hand-me-down ability and totally worth the $$ for me!
Wet Brushes – These are the best brushes around, hands down! Great for the pool bag in the summer.
Fine Mist Water Bottle – got one of these for Christmas and it’s awesome! Super fine mist.
Girls Underwear – we love these at my house – inexpensive, super cute non-character prints & comfy.
Boys Underwear – Easter basket = perfect opportunity to stock up on the essentials ;). These are our fave for Cooper.
Piggy Paint – LOVE PP, perfect for a basket. This brand is non-toxic, no parabens or harsh, smelly chemicals, cruelty-free + vegan + made in USA.
Nail Polish Holder – this is for older girls but thought it was super clever so had to include!
Kids Electric Toothbrush – this toothbrush is designed for kids ages 3+, rechargeable, has great ratings, and has a built-in timer. My kids are in desperate need of new toothbrushes so I’m grabbing these from the bunny.
Bath Bombs – Ok this pack of bath bombs comes with 12 which is obviously overkill for one basket (they’re also organic + natural + awesome reviews) but I’m grabbing these for my kids and I’ll split them across baskets.
Bunny Scrunchies – this pack of 6 bunny scrunchies is super cute and SO affordable.
Burt’s Bees Chapstick – this stuff is natural and my girls loves chapstick so this is an easy win for the basket.
Echo Dot Kids Edition – my kids got one of these for Christmas and it was a total hit! Comes with daily time limits and the ability to review activity. It plays music, tells stories, calls approved friends and family, and has more kid-friendly skills.
20 Pack of Hair Bows – this pack of 20 6″ hair bows is AMAZING… they’re awesome quality at an insane price. They also come in 3″, 4.5″, 5″.
Banana Teether/Toothbrush – for babies š this was Emmy’s favorite teether/chew toy of all time and it’s a STEAL at under $10.
Lacing Cards – great for fine motor skills. This is a smaller set of 5 cards for stockings :).
Bunny Lovey – I ordered something really similar for Auggie but this one ships in time for Easter
Water Wow Coloring Books – Water Wow are the PERFECT thing to bring out to restaurants, on road trips, and on planes with super young kids. They come with a ‘pen’ that fills with water, which is what ‘colors’ them in. They’re reusable, too.
Easter Basket Fillers for Summer
Water Bottle – my kids got these for Christmas and they are fantastic and the perfect size for kids. Lots of colors, they come with a straw, and I love that they’re stainless steel so drinks stay cold.
Neon Sunscreen Sticks – I did a ton of research on safe sunscreens last year and this brand is one of my faves! Grabbed this 3 pack of neon sunscreen for the kids’ baskets this year. Hoping the fun colors help them WANT to put on sunscreen + help us see where it’s been applied
Sidewalk Chalk – No Easter basket is complete without sidewalk chalk (especially now)
Hooded Beach Towel – LOVE a good hooded beach towel for the summer – this one has a darling rainbow pattern or a shark pattern
Swim Goggles – I actually bought these exact goggles for my kids for their basket – major fingers crossed that they actually stay put.
Swimsuits – always a hit – some of my favorite places to grab them for kids are:
GAP // Hanna Andersson (I grabbed these insanely cute lemon suits for my kids to match) // Old Navy // Target – holy cuteness! toddler girl / baby girl / toddler boy / baby boy / big girl / big boy
Native Shoes – I love these for my girls and Coop… they last all summer long, are super lightweight, stink-proof, and clean up super easily. Coop is getting a pair in his basket (the girls didn’t outgrow theirs)
Bubble Machine – do you know how many cheap bubble machines I’ve bought over the years? A LOT. One every year, to be exact. I’m upping our bubble game this year and ordered this heavy-duty one that you can plug in OR use batteries with – over 1k reviews and almost a solid 5 stars.
Easter Books for Easter Baskets
The Velveteen Rabbit – one of my faves from childhood
In My Heart: A Book of Feelings – picked this one up to try to help my 2 yo work through some – ahem – emotions
