I knew non-candy Valentines for classroom Valentine’s Day exchanges was a thing but my daughter’s preschool upped the ante by asking that any Valentine given has no food. Gone are my dreams of “you’re a cutie” Valentine cards with a little tangerine attached, Goldfish crackers adorned with “I’m so glad you’re in my school”. Time to figure something else out… so I went on the hunt for Valentines for School Ideas and found some really cute stuff!
**UPDATED FOR 2019** – MORE CUTE VALENTINES FOR SCHOOL IDEAS
Minted came through for me again! They sent me these great “a-maze-ing” classroom Valentine’s Day cards and attached a fun little golf pencil and it turned out SO cute! Take a peek:
maze Valentine // silver mini pencils // gold mini pencils // red mini pencils
And if mazes and pencils aren’t your thing, here are 19 other great classroom Valentine’s cards to which you can attach a fun favor, no food or candy required. Use thin washi tape (or even better, glitter washi tape!) or a thin cut to the card (like I did above) to attach the fun favor extra. Each Valentine below is shoppable – just click on the pic of the one you like! – and has it’s favor/toy/gift idea directly beneath it – also shoppable, all from Amazon, most Prime eligible. I got you, momma ?!
to make melted crayon hearts: mini heart silicon mold // one inch heart silicon mold
wood rulers // colorful rulers
mini dino figurines or toy plastic shovels
plastic striped straws for tumblers // multicolored crazy straws
What kind of Valentine’s are you getting for your kid’s class?
