I’m not a doctor or nutritionist – just a mom š – but wanted to share the vitamins and supplements I take myself, what my husband takes, and what my kids take. Basically, vitamins for the whole family!
Do we get sick sometimes? Yes. Do we have perfect nutrition? No. But I do think these couple things help so wanted to share here.
Vitamins & Supplements I Take as a Nursing Mom
I had Auggie 6 weeks ago and I’m nursing – several of these vitamins/supplements indicate to consult your doctor if you’re nursing or pregnant so definitely double-check if you have any questions!
I’m REALLY bad at swallowing pills so I opt to take any/everything in gummy form when possible. Very mature, I know ;).
My Favorite Gummy Prenatal
These are the prenatals I took throughout my pregnancy with Auggie and because I’m breastfeeding, I will until I’m finished nursing him. Disclaimer: it looks like they changed the formula from the ones I have so I’ll try the new formula and report back. // why you need a prenatal // shop it here
My Favorite Collagen Powder
This is the collagen powder I use. It’s odorless and tasteless so you can mix it into hot or cold beverages – I know a lot of people mix it into their hot morning coffee but I drink cold brew so I don’t put it in there because it doesn’t dissolve completely. Adding it to a smoothie is a slam dunk but most days I just add 2 scoops to a cup of warm water and gulp it down along with the supplement below. // benefits of collagen // shop it here
Natural Calm Magnesium Supplement
This is the magnesium supplement I take. I dissolve it into warm water along with the collagen above and drink it quickly. I cannot definitively say that it helps reduce anxiety (I take prescription Lexapro for that) but I’ve heard it’s great for sleep, migraines, stress, and reducing muscle cramps. It also comes in gummies but I haven’t tried them yet. // benefits of magnesium // shop it here
Apple Cider Vinegar Gummies
I’m new to the ACV gummy world but so far, I love them! I’ve read about the benefits of apple cider vinegar for years but I just cannot bring myself into drinking it diluted daily so I recently started eating 4 of these a day and I really like them // possible benefits of ACV // shop it here
Vitamins for My Kids
While I *try* to give my kids a healthy, balanced diet – we’re not perfect and could do better. I feel better about supplementing with a few additions that are hopefully helping!
Kids Multivitamin + Probiotic
These are absolutely my fave vitamins for the kids – they’re good for kids ages 2+ and have a probiotic included, so one less thing to remember. My kids remind me to take these every day because they love them so much. I usually have them on Subscribe & Save but Amazon is out right now so linking them elsewhere š // shop them here
Kids Vitamin C Gummies
Ok the ones I’m linking aren’t the exact ones my kids take because those are sold out everywhere (I presume due to Corona) – linked here – but the ones linked below have good reviews and are available.

Fiber Gummies
Yes, I try to get as much fiber in my kids’ diets as possible BUT sometimes someone gets a little behind & backed up SO I started giving them these fiber gummies to keep everyone more regular. // shop them here
Vitamin for My Husband
Guys are so simple š Chris only takes these and loves them!

Vitamin D for the baby
Breastfed babies are supposed to get a Vitamin D supplement daily so I prefer to give this because it’s dye-free and has no taste – just one drop on your nipple before a feeding or the bottle before feeding covers the daily dosage. A bottle lasts a LONG time, too // shop it here
