Holy. Moly. Less than 30 days until our newest babe joins our family. It’s been a bit since I did a bumpdate and a lot of (sweet) people have asked how I’ve been feeling, so I wanted to share with you :). And share the super fun maternity dress I wore to my baby sprinkle this weekend:
PinkBlush has great maternity clothes and were kind enough to send me a dress for my sprinkle. I chose this fitted little floral maternity dress and LOVED it. Stretchy, pretty colors, and true to size (I’m wearing a small). Take a peek at their floral maternity dresses.
Pregnancy DETAILS
Due Date: Beginning of March… t-minus 20-something days!
How far along? 36 weeks
Gender: We don’t know! We’ve never found out the sex of the baby before he/she is born. However, if I was a betting woman, I would say it’s a girl. Only because I feel more similar this time around to my pregnancy with my daughter, but only time will tell.
Highlights Lately: A non-eventful “boring” pregnancy, as my OB calls it. We also had an amazing babymoon getaway that was much needed and much enjoyed.
ENERGY
Starting to slow down a bit. My need for afternoon naps is back but I have to do ALLTHETHINGS so it just depends on the day. And how much caffeine I’ve had. Third baby = caffeinated momma.
CRAVINGS
The two things I’ve REALLY had to have lately are those $0.50 beef & bean frozen burritos you microwave (sick!) covered in Frank’s Red Hot Sauce, and Frosted Shredded Mini Wheat cereal. But not at the same time ;). Also very partial to Everything Pretzel Crisps and ICE water. Heavy on the ice.
SLEEP
Sleep is ok – I wake up to pee approximately 6xs/night but I’m able to fall right back asleep, so it’s not the worst thing in the world.
AVERSIONS
Oddly enough, pizza has been really unappealing to me lately. And fish – I’m usually a salmon fan but that sounds terrible at this stage in the game.
MISSING
Still booze. And being able to get up or shift on the couch without grunting like a huge old man.
BODY CHANGES
Total weight gain: uhhhh… 23lbs.
Symptoms: Still feeling good but I could do without lightning crotch and feeling like I rode a bike for 237 miles every day. The joys of pregnancy…
Movement: Loving those elbow drags all the way across my stomach and the random limbs poking out every once in a while!
NURSERY PREP
Because we’ve never found out what the sex of our babies are before they are born, I’ve always kept a “permanent nursery” in our house. It’s the room closest to ours and is totally gender neutral. I’ll share it soon; I planned it out in 2012 and still wouldn’t really change anything about it. But because we have the permanent nursery and the baby will be taking over in March, Cooper is OUT of the nursery and in to his “big boy room” – here’s the inspiration!
WORKOUTS
HAHAHA what workouts?! Really fell off the bandwagon with the holidays, Quinn being in the hospital, and traveling. But I made it to a barre class last week and didn’t die, so I’m counting it as a win.
Celebrations
My best girlfriends threw a little sprinkle for me this past weekend and it was SO nice! Brunch and “mom-osas”, lots of diapers and books given. I’m working on a roundup of Baby #3 essentials so stay tuned ;). And one more pic of the #36week bump <3
