Expecting a baby but not finding out whether you’re having a boy or a girl? Same… for the 4th time! Over the years of not finding out the sexes of our babies, I’ve come across a handful of amazing items to add to your Gender Neutral Baby Registry.
I’ve also realized that babies don’t need a ton of STUFF, the more basic the better. So this list of gender-neutral baby registry ideas only includes the absolute essentials!
Gender Neutral Baby Registry Essentials
Grey & White Crib Bedding
Whether you’re having a girl or boy, grabbing a set of neutral bedding is a must. I recently discovered Little Star Organic and I’m in love – organic cotton is softer than conventional cotton AND it’s more sustainable so win/win. Also love that it’s fair trade and ethically produced with a transparent supply chain.
The set comes with 2 fitted sheets (with elastic all the way around, which I love so sheets stay snug) and a super soft crib blanket (which we’ll use MUCH later).
If you’re having a girl, I’m also LOVING this print – same organic cotton goodness as the star set shown above.
Backpack Diaper Bag
This is DARLING and comes in black, grey or pink for under $30.
Glass Baby Bottle Set
I personally try to use glass where possible when warm beverages are involved and this set of glass baby bottles looks amazing for a baby registry – a mix of large and small bottles + a few pacifiers just in case.
Ultimate Sound Machine
Trust me when I say this is the ultimate sound machine – we have one in Emmy’s room and will be getting one for the new baby’s nursery!
Gender Neutral Zippered Sleepers
Pretty much all my babies wear when they’re brand new – no worrying about cold feet and the zipper part is ESSENTIAL. A two-pack of these are under $17 and also made with organic cotton.
Video Monitor
They quit making the video monitor we used when Emmy was a baby so I plan to try this one – great reviews and under $40 and integrates with smartphones – sign me up!
Wipes
I LOVE these wipes, especially for brand new babies! Nothing extra in them to irritate sensitive skin. Register for about 85 packages of these because you’ll be using them for the next 3 years ;).
Minimalist Crib
I personally love a crib with open bars on all 4 sides and this one is gorgeous and looks twice as expensive as it is! Great reviews, too.
