In honor of Quinn’s half birthday, I’m sharing the pics that I took 6 months ago from her 3rd birthday – better late than never, right? Since it was her last “before she starts school” party, I opted to keep it small and only invited close family for a little brunch birthday soiree. The theme was sprinkles so I kept the color palette to bright, rainbow-y sprinkle colors. Here are the deets:
The Food
Long John donuts with sprinkles on top + milk
The Favors
Homemade white chocolate covered sprinkle pretzels (super easy, kids can help!)
The Decor
Easy DIY crepe paper banner
Here are all the details of this sweet little birthday bash:
A birthday donut and candle for the birthday girl. I made a sprinkle “3” for decoration (in the background) but it was a total Pinterest fail so not recommending that as a decoration. š
Who doesn’t like sprinkle donuts?! I bought plain vanilla long johns and added the sprinkles at home.
The whole sprinkle birthday theme may or may not have been inspired by this donut gift bag… I also did a window backdrop of crepe paper. Really easy and cheap – get a couple rolls of crepe paper and a string (I used twine) and tie the long strips of crepe paper at the string/twine and just let them hang down.
These little favors were super easy to make – white chocolate covered pretzels drizzled with sprinkles. Yum.
Got these cute little sprinkle invites from an Etsy seller.
Crepe paper doesn’t have to be cheesy! I used alternating sprinkle colors attached to a string tied behind our window treatments for a bright “backdrop”. And then left it up for 2 weeks to get my energy’s worth. š
