Heading into 2021 hopeful, cautiously optimistic, and in need of reprioritization. One of the things I very much neglected in 2020 was taking care of myself; I think a ton of moms can relate, especially in a Pandemic.
When we talk about self-care, it can seem superficial; stuff like manicures and pedicures and nights out with girlfriends. And while those activities can definitely fall under the self-care umbrella – and are awesome, by the way š – true self-care is exactly what it sounds like… taking care of YOURSELF.
In 2021, I have some goals that I’m hoping I can achieve, little by little. No resolutions, no absolutes, no failure, really. Just more of the good, less of what isn’t serving me as a person.
Walmart has a really cool wellness hub with sections for self-care, specialty foods, improving mental wellness, and eating more healthfully. If you have a Walmart+ membership, you get free delivery shipping with no order minimum on items from Walmart.com (excludes oversized/freight &
Marketplace items).
Walmart carries several of the brands I love, like Olly (my fave kids’ vitamins!), Owala (my new favorite water bottle!), and Oral-B (my smart toothbrush is ahhhh-mazing).
A few of my self-care favorites:
spout & straw water bottle – LOVE this water bottle – the top has a straw built in but you can also pour it like a spout // kids gummy multivitamin – my kids’ absolute favorite gummy vitamins + there’s a probiotic built in // powder collagen – this has zero odor or taste + helps with hair and nail growth + joint mobility
