You know those summer fun lists that have over 150 activities to do with your kids this summer? Ya, I don’t want to do 150 things with my kids. I want our summer to be fun, of course, but packing the calendar full of Pinterest crafts and complex outings is NOT my jam with 3 kids ages 5 and under. So I came up with a low-key summer fun list for mommas with little kids.
It became abundantly clear the first morning of us all being home together – after the big kids smeared cream cheese “makeup” all over Emmy – that we needed a *plan* and something for the kids to look forward to. So while I had a lot of these ideas in my head – zoo, pool, picnic (genius & groundbreaking, I know!) 😉 – it was time to put them down on paper for the kids to see / for me to hold over their heads. PS – in case you aren’t fluent in it, the couple sentences above contain dripping amounts of sarcasm :).
