I’ve shared these bats enough on Instagram that they deserve their very own space here on the blog :).
Inexpensive, fun for kids, and fairly neutral decor compared to some Halloween decorations – I love the way my bats look on the wall going up the stairs or on an accent wall. Side note: our wall color + all the others we tried are listed here.
I’ve seen bat wall decorations on fireplaces, outside on siding (doesn’t stick on brick!), and even on lamp shades.

Plastic Bat Decorations – Alternative
Linking these because the plastic ones I have (linked below) are sold out :/ but these look really good and have good reviews + ship prime! // shop them here
Paper Alternative Bats
If you’re looking to avoid plastic and/or don’t want PVC in your home, this cardstock alternative is also a winner! They don’t come with adhesive so you have to add your own tape but NBD for the price – these are the ones flying up the stairs above. // shop them here
Plastic Bat Decorations – Sold Out š
One of my all-time fave Halloween decorations – these bats will win you major cool-mom points. I use little masking tape loops if you’re worried about paint coming off the walls. This is the exact listing I bought from 2 years ago BUT it looks like the bats are different than my plastic bats, so I think they changed the listing :/. The current bats are also really cute (pictured right above this paragraph). They’re plastic so very sturdy and reusable for years. I stuck them on the wall ‘going up the stairs’ and they look so great – subtle yet spooky. // shop them here
