I have a few friends who will be welcoming their first babies into the world in 2016 – yay for babies! I remember being so excited to register and prep for a new baby but also so clueless as to what I would need to keep a tiny helpless human alive.
So I did what I do best… shop. This is my list of first baby registry must haves. Not to be confused with second baby registry must haves – then, you just need a pair of socks and a broom to keep everyone happy.
This post ended up being insanely long so I decided to break it up into a few smaller posts focusing on one baby category per post – first up, baby bath essentials!
Hooded Towels These are the best for bathing baby. The little hood keeps their heads warm and it’s super easy to wrap them up like a burrito post soak. Grab about 5 so you have a couple extra on hand.
Baby Bath To start, a sink will suffice but after a couple months baby can upgrade to the tub. This baby bath is my fave; baby can lay down when they’re really young and the other side allows them to sit up once they get a little more steady.
Baby Washcloths Grab a dozen of these; you’ll use them for everything.
Tub Toys Register for a few little toys; I like these squeeze toys and cups.
Bath Accessories This spout cover and bath toy holder are so useful and add a bit of fun to the bath.
Body Wash I try to use *mostly* organic stuff when it comes to my kids’ skin. This is our favorite bodywash.
Did I miss anything for bath time? More baby registry categories coming soon…
