There are some things that you see for your kids that you just HAVE to buy. I’ve been seeing a lot of said “must-haves” for Quinn lately… anything with a special ruffle, or an added bow, or sparkly glitter, or a fun critter face, and I must add it to cart (real or online). I’ve been justifying the purchases with the thought that they’ll someday be handed down to Emmy… I can only hope! There’s something so sweet about seeing Em in Quinn’s old clothes that I definitely hope the trend continues.
Quinn’s style can best be described as *girly*. Ruffly, frilly, pink, sparkly, and fancy. We recently had parent-teacher conferences and her teachers reported that she loves (literally) dancing down the halls and throughout her day. Nothing warms my heart more than knowing that my kids are comfortable and happy enough to live their best lives and do what they love, so I was seriously proud hearing that Quinn just owns school like it’s her recital stage. Even though she’s only 5, I know that this phase is fleeting – just like every other stage of childhood/motherhood. The only constant is change. So for now, I’m embracing it, and buying that sweet girl anything (but not everything!) that makes her feel confident, happy, and like the prima ballerina she is. Here are my fave fall finds for little girls – all under $50!:
