I love a Christmas countdown but we weren’t super huge on Advent Calendars for kids until 2020… but at that point, any new little holiday nugget we could find that was safe AND festive AND easy was an immediate YES! So I ordered an Advent calendar for each child and we haven’t looked back!
I honestly don’t hate them – even though, yes, it’s a lot of pieces, I try to choose things like Legos that will just blend in with all the other zillions of pieces we already have. Or I choose something holiday themed, so that it can be put away for the year with all the other holiday decorations.
