Shopping postpartum isn’t always the most fun… and by “isn’t always” I mean NEVER the most fun. You don’t want to spend a ton of money on stuff that won’t always fit, your body *probably* isn’t where it once was, but you’re SO tired of wearing the same old maternity stuff. On top of that, if you’re nursing, you need pieces that will allow for you to quickly and easily whip out your boob every 3 hours. Not the easiest requirements.
It’s my 3rd time living this postpartum dilemma but my first with a spring baby, so I had to shop for some new shirts that are nursing friendly, casual, inexpensive, and cute. Peplum shapes, ruffle hems, drapey fits and bell and ruffle sleeves are your friend! They hide a little pooch and dress up the look a little bit. I plan on sporting them with black leggings (of course! Blanqi makes a great pair of postpartum high-waist leggings that I LOVE), ripped jeans (when I can fit into my jeans again), and relaxed cutoff jean shorts in the summer.
Here are my 15 favorite Nursing Friendly Spring Tops for new moms (or any mom!):
