With all this talk of back-to-school and pumpkin spice lattes coming back (September 8th, mark your calendars!), I’m all-in for fall.
I may have a bit of a boot problem, but I haven’t added any booties in a couple years (ok, this year) so I decided to add a cute fringe bootie to my closet for the season. I really wanted these from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale a few weeks ago but when I saw them in store I wasn’t in love so I decided to pull the trigger on the adorable Sam Edelman Louie; they’ve been around for a couple seasons and will work just as well in spring and summer as they will in fall, so I think they’re a good buy.
My requirements for Fringe Booties include:
1. A sturdy heel – thank God stacked, block heels are in style because I just can’t teeter on a thin heel anymore. And that’s how you know you’re getting old; I sound like my mom.
2. No open toes. If I’m wearing a boot, I don’t want to worry about having a pedicure.
I’ll wear them with tights and rolled skinny jeans for fall and hopefully with sundresses and maxis next spring and summer. I bought the taupe color in the Edelmans but there are some beautiful fall shades below – everything is under $140!
Carlos Santana // $79.00
Sbicca // $90 – these are made in the USA, which is pretty cool
Very Volatile // $75
Coconuts by Matisse // $105
Gianni Bini // $99
Not Rated // $65 – love the zipper detailing on these
Tahari // $119
Steve Madden // $99
Sam Edelman, $140 – my new babies <3
