Whether you’re headed out for a beach vacay or just a Saturday by the lake, having the right gear can make or break your day. I’ve rounded up our go-to beach must-haves for the whole crew—stuff we’ve used, loved, and would absolutely bring again (even if it means dragging it through the sand like a pack mule). Shibumi Beach Shade
I love the coverage, ease & portability of the Shibumi – fits in a suitcase for air travel. I hated that it was weather/wind dependent, but that has been solved with an attachment for the older model and the newer model comes with the wind-assist attachment!
Beach Wagon with Canopy
This wagon was a prime day find – still on sale for what I paid. It folds small & includes the wood panels to make it into a tabletop. It also comes with an umbrella you can pop on – I haven’t tried that part yet because we’ve been covered (literally) by the shibumi shade.
Mesh Beach Bag Tote with Cooler
This beach bag has tons of pockets including a detachable cooler at the bottom. It has a shoulder strap and tote straps & holds all the towels. Super reasonably priced, too!
Turkish Beach Towels
I prefer these Turkish towels, especially when we travel & are limited on space. They dry quickly & get softer with every wash.
